Vertical Time and the Multiverse: A Scientific and Philosophical Exploration

In this paper, I develop the theory of 'vertical time', a new cosmological hypothesis where universes are temporally sequenced in a higher dimension of time. Integrating paradigms from conformal cyclic cosmology (CCC), quantum gravity, and black hole thermodynamics, I develop a hypothesis regarding the evolution of entropy, causality, and the arrow of time in cosmic cycles. Eternal recurrence, time metaphysics, and infinite regress are taken into account philosophically and incorporated into scientific frameworks, thus providing an interdisciplinary solution to multiverse geometry. By challenging linear temporal assumptions, I seek to advance stronger philosophical debate in philosophy of physics, cosmology, and theoretical metaphysics. The research is applicable to quantum foundations researchers, astrophysicists, and philosophers of time, since it reinstates the multiverse as a temporally ordered continuum, as opposed to spatial ordering in discrete worlds.
